information about the events
We have been working with schools for x years and have designed our program of events around the national curriculum. Our school activity events are designed for children aged x - x years. Each sessions lasts for 2-3 hours and our best events are on a residential basis, spending 2 or 3 days navigating a specific area with morning and afternoon sessions which focus on a range of activities.
We have excellent relationships with various venues and also wild camping opportunities in the Peak District National park.
In order to run the sessions we require # adults per ## children. Costs are based on ££ per child per day + expenses - you can expect to pay £XXX for a group of 20 children per day.
We need name, address and emergency contact details for each child, risk assessment and H&S documents completed before the event commences.
YOUR SCHOOL ACTIVITY JOURNEY
Before we begin, we'll need comprehensive contact details of all children, adults, also completing a risk assessment and method statement.
We begin our expedition, for example this might include walking and orienteering, developing navigational skills and risk assessment in the wild.
Day two would usually involve bootcamp exercises, orienteering, assault course activities, tyrolean river crossing and shelter building.
Some examples of day three activities involve abseiling, hill walking and scrambling, then typically returning to base camp for a BBQ and marshmallows.
